The Serbian-Montenegrin National Final EVROPESMA was held in Podgorica on March 4th, 2005 with a total of 24 competitors. The winner was chosen by 9 jury members (4 from Serbia, 4 from Montenegro and televoting/SMS voting being the 9th member). Before the final there were two Semi-Finals with 24 songs - one in Serbia and one in Montenegro.

The Serbian semi-final Beovizija 2005 was held at the Sava Center in Belgrade on February 19th, 2005.

The Montenegrin semi-final Montevizija 2005 was held at the RTCG TV studio in Podgorica on March 2nd, 2005.
