Andorra searched for a representative during the casting show Eurocàsting 2004. A group of 32 singers appeared at the start. 16 singers were left after a first selection and have been reduced to 6 singers to compete in the Eurocasting Final.

A tie between Marian van de Wal and Mar Capdevila occured. The Andorran rules state that in such case the youngest jury member has the final decision. Therefore Marian van de Wal will represent Andorra at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
